Pancreatitis is the inflammation of the pancreas, which can occur suddenly (acute) or over many years (chronic). It affects the pancreas' ability to aid digestion and regulate blood sugar.
Symptoms

Causes
- Gallstones
- Chronic and excessive alcohol consumption
